Microsoft Access User

 

In this class, the student will learn: data entry, tables, forms, reports, and queries. You will create several tables & forms and then customize them for data entry. The relational aspects of Access are also covered in this course, where you work with and create multi-table forms, queries and reports.

 

Microsoft Excel Introduction

 

This class teaches the basics of good spreadsheet design. Topics include basic data entry, copying and moving data, creating and editing simple formulas, formatting and printing. Automatically compute a row or column using mathematical functions such as Sum & Average.

 

Microsoft Excel Intermediate

 

Charts and database features of Excel are covered in detail in this class, in addition to higher-level functions and workspace manipulation. Linking worksheets and using templates are also covered.

 

Microsoft Excel Advanced

 

Learn how to summarize data, automate tasks and manuver large spreadsheets. Learn how to use pivot tables, look up functions, and external sources, as well as other tools and techniques.

 

Microsoft FrontPage Basics

 

Microsoft FrontPage is a desktop software application you can use to create, edit, and manage web sites, whether for an intranet or for the World Wide Web.

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer

 

Learn how to immediately tap into the internet and use it productively. Topics include basic terminology, how to physically connect, and types of service.

 

Microsoft Outlook Introduction

 

Send e-mail, schedule appointments, events and meetings, keep a ''to do'' list, and track your business contacts with Outlook.

 

Microsoft PowerPoint Introduction

 

Learn how to create professional quality slide shows. Incorporate charts, graphics, multiple color schemes and transitions, as well as applying templates.

 

Microsoft PowerPoint Intermediate

 

Topics for this course include discussion of the fundamentals of OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) to incorporate objects from other applications into your PowerPoint presentations, along with creating organizational charts, using the drawing tools, and animation. You will also learn how to save a presentation so that it may be included in a website.

 

Microsoft PowerPoint Advanced

 

Topics for this course include advanced formatting and slide show features, using data from Word or Excel inside PowerPoint, and creating custom-designed templates. Also covered are sound clips, video clips, exporting a presentation to Word, and saving a presentation to use on another computer.

 

Microsoft Publisher Introduction

 

Learn how to create professional-looking letterheads, flyers, newsletters and much more with this desktop publishing program from Microsoft.

 

Microsoft Word Introduction

 

Learn the basics of creating, editing, formatting and printing documents. Learn how to change margins, spacing, tabs & text alignment. Correct your spelling & grammar with Word's powerful proofing tools.

 

Microsoft Word Intermediate

 

Learn to perform calculations or align text with graphics. You will also learn how to do tables, columns, styles, templates and more.

 

Microsoft Word Advanced

 

Learn how to create charts to graphically represent your data and how to create a form letter and data document using mail-merge. Also learn how to work with Word forms, tables of contents, indexes, footnotes and much more.
